Talking Allexisara, Frost and/or Arcane mage

Name, Class & level: Allexisara, Level 80 Gnome Mage

Age: 26

High Level Alts (please note if they are guilded): Tawni (Level 75 Druid, will pretty soon be unguilded). I do have other alts, but they don't really count since none of them are even in TBC content yet).

Professions & Skill level: Herbalism/Alchemy - both at 450

Time Zone & Play times (in server time, be as specific as possible): Central Time, usually on at about 9pm to raid

Talent Spec: Main spec Frost, Off-Spec Arcane

Equipment: .....all over the place, my dice epically suck (rolling a 31 outta 1201 for example). But wow-heroes gives me a gear score of 2855.

Raiding experience: I have experience in all raids up to and including ICC, some HM bosses (Ulduar, ToGC), and in ICC I have achievements for clearing 2 wings in 10-man(was also in group that downed putricide first) and one wing in 25-man (only boss missing in 2nd wing is putricide)

Complete guild history and reasons for leaving:
Strength in Honor (Aggramar and Madoran server): Guild died and reformed as Ultra Vires. Ultra Vires (Madoran server): I haven't left yet, but am looking to because it's becoming very cutthroat and there is no room for a mage who "doesn't raid as an approved spec" (aka: Frost). I've had a few problems with the new leadership, mainly due to my spec and the fact that I can't always make raid due to work (I work in retail, so I sometimes have to close the store and don't make it in time). I've pretty much been allowed in raid only when there aren't enough people to show up - and that's not what I signed up for. I haven't logged in a few weeks due to school getting in the way, but I'm adjusting and should be able to server transfer and log in for a Wed night run.

A little bit about yourself and why you wish to join Paradigm: I'm a college student, wife, mother, and part-time worker as a geek. I really enjoy playing WoW and thoroughly enjoy maximizing my gear to make it work with a frost spec - It's never been top dps but I've managed to make it my bitch and play it better than any other mage I know (and there are a few of them in the guild alone - none of them have the balls that I do, arcane junkies..../sigh, lol). I'm looking for a guild that is a little more casual than what I'm involved in now - it's full of politics and who can out-dps who, it's not what it used to be. I need a guild that's going to be accepting of me no matter what spec I play or if I can't make it on a night here and there (missing a raid hurts - you get put on SB all week if you're late on Tuesday night). If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.

References: Kenosha (I have a few classes with him and we're always arguing mage mechanics - like I keep telling him he has a gimmicky frost spec and needs to lose the points in fire ).

I have read the Guild Charter/Loot Rules and agree to all terms (yes/no): Yes

Edit: I'm more than willing to server hop since there are very few guilds on my server looking for a mage, and they are nowhere near progressed as you are.

Her raid frost dps is 7k+, very smart, and very nice. Would be a great app for the guild.

Btw that frost spec splashed fire for improved blizzard damage! I redid my frost for a pvp spec :P

Yea, be forwarned I will be rusty though.....I haven't logged in a few weeks cuz of school and my dps has suffered a little bit since I had to take leftovers on gear for a while. I'm about 5k-7k frost dps depending on group makeup in 25-man, and 3k-5k in 10-mans depending on makeup.

And frost pvp!!!! ACK!!!!

Hi Allexisara! Thanks for taking the time to apply to Paradigm. We are currently trying to sort out what classes we need to recruit but the one thing we have agreed on is that we are overfull on mages right now

Hello Allexisara,

What spec would you like to run your druid as after you finish leveling and reach 80?

Paradigm may be inundated with mages, but I think we could all agree that Balance Druids are underrepresented in our raids.

Good point, Ray - Druid bird or even tree would be a very welcome addition to the roster.

Honestly never really thought about it since she's about 2 years old and she has yet to reach a lvl cap. She's currently spec'd tree/bear since it's easier to get into a run that way. But I wouldn't be opposed to removing my bear spec since she was originally a moonkin. I would def have to get back into the swing of things since she's been sidelined for raid progression (and the fact that I haven't had much of a chance to log in for the last few weeks). And, new class mechanics + little gear = will take some time b4 I'm ready to raid in ICC. It'll be interesting though....

For instances, you would get through the queue slightly faster keeping the bear spec. For that reason alone I would hold off dropping it until you've completed gearing up sufficiently for ICC10 content. The automated matchmaking system rarely pairs up members of the same class, so there's little stopping you from rolling on Druid caster gear.

Another thing to note is that Proudmoore is an original server and has a high population. You should create an alt or two here to reserve the names you want before completing a transfer. This would also be a good way to meet us all too.
